Music of Love 2026 brought together extraordinary artists from diverse backgrounds and traditions. Each performer contributed their unique voice to create an unforgettable celebration of music, culture, and compassion.

Crystal is a renowned Guzheng musician, composer, and educator whose students span more than ten countries. Known for exceptional technical mastery and emotional expression, she inspires audiences worldwide. As a cultural ambassador, she organizes concerts, contributes to national exchanges, performs for film and television, reaches millions online, and serves as Texas Young Masters program evaluator.

David is an accomplished cellist born into a musical family, with formal training at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music as a cello performance major. He continued advanced studies in Ohio, serving as principal and soloist with university orchestras and performing with the Canton Symphony Orchestra. His repertoire spans major classical cello works, with frequent chamber, solo, and church performances.

Kimia is a Dallas-based singer-songwriter, violinist, and Organizational Psychology professional who blends soulful music with research-informed insight. Fusing world, pop, and jazz influences, she explores authenticity and human connection. As a keynote speaker and program manager, she delivers creativity-driven leadership, team-building, and holistic development programs for global and corporate audiences.

Jo-Ying is an award-winning pianist and educator, and a graduate of Eastern Michigan University. She has served as a piano professor at institutions including Eastern Florida University and Collin College. In addition to her performance career, she is a respected conductor and artistic director, leading the Frisco Youth Symphony Orchestra to Bass Hall and representing the United States at international conducting forums in Prague.

Milo is a versatile studio musician and live performer whose expressive playing appears in film and television soundtracks including Hope Floats, The Final, and Girlhood. He has collaborated with artists such as Don Henley and LeAnn Rimes, produced and performed on numerous singer-songwriter projects, and performs with bluegrass ensembles like Hickory Hill, bringing depth, nuance, and stylistic fluency to every collaboration.

Ying is a distinguished performer and educator known for exceptional technical mastery and deep cultural insight. A sought-after artist for international stages and cultural exchanges, she brings depth and authenticity to every performance. As a cultural ambassador, including a residency at the Royal Danish Academy of Music, she is dedicated to bridging global cultures through the universal language of music.

Daniel is an accomplished performer and educator with decades of performance experience and over 15 years of teaching. He is dedicated to sharing Chinese musical traditions and has guided students to top honors in major competitions. Beyond performance, he serves as Music Director of the Dallas Huayun Chinese Music Orchestra and explores music's therapeutic potential for mental health.

Dan is an accomplished conductor and musician with over a decade of orchestral leadership, including roles with major Chinese orchestras and symphonies. A graduate of the Central and Shanghai Conservatories of Music, she has collaborated with world-class ensembles and performed at major international festivals. She is also dedicated to music education as a private teacher and Assistant Music Director at Allen ISD.

Peng is an accomplished double bassist who has performed as a soloist with the TCU Symphony Orchestra and appeared with major orchestras in the U.S. and China. A dedicated educator and mentor, he teaches at universities and academies, leads masterclasses, and serves as Music Director of the Huayun Chinese Orchestra, integrating classical, worship, and cross-cultural musical traditions.

Chengjin is a distinguished pipa performer trained at the High School Affiliated to the Shanghai Theatre Academy and the last protégé of master Xie Jiaguo. A prize-winning musician and former Principal Pipa of the Academy's Chinese Orchestra, she holds degrees from Texas Christian University and performs internationally, sharing the expressive depth and cultural richness of traditional Chinese music.

Ann Allums brings warmth and professionalism as host, guiding audiences through an evening of cultural celebration with grace and charm. As a seasoned television host and community leader, Ann has a gift for connecting with diverse audiences and creating memorable experiences that honor both tradition and innovation.

Crystal Zheng Studio

Crystal Zheng Studio is a leading educational platform dedicated to Guzheng instruction and the promotion of Guzheng culture worldwide. The studio offers high-quality courses and performance-focused training for students of all levels, serving learners across more than ten countries while fostering strong technique, artistic expression, and cultural appreciation.

Frisco Youth Symphony Orchestra

Founded in 2010, FYSO is a nonprofit providing Frisco-area students in grades 6–12 with high-level orchestral training beyond school programs. The orchestra offers weekly rehearsals, recognizes graduating seniors with scholarships, and inspires many students to pursue music studies in college.

YES Orchestra

Founded in 2023, the YES Orchestra is a student-run chamber ensemble formed by musically talented members of the Youth Entrepreneur Society. The group performs at YES events and local festivals, including the McKinney Asian Festival and Dallas Moon Festival, while empowering students to select repertoire, organize rehearsals, and serve the community through music.

Huayun Orchestra

Founded in 2012, the Dallas Huayun Traditional Chinese Music Orchestra showcases a rich range of traditional Chinese instruments, including erhu, pipa, yangqin, guzheng, ruan, and zhudi. The orchestra performs widely across the DFW area, presents annual concerts at UT Dallas, is sponsored by the UTD Center for Asian Studies, and serves diverse community, cultural, and educational events.

Kingsmen Guitar Quartet

The Mckinney based Kingsmen Guitar Quartet delivers powerful four-part harmony performances, blending barbershop tradition with contemporary entertainment. As part of the Barbershop Harmony Society, the Kingsmen have earned numerous accolades while spreading joy through music across North Texas with dynamic performances that combine precision vocal technique and engaging showmanship.
