Experience the artistry of Peng Wang, an internationally recognized double bass soloist, educator, and conductor whose training at the Shenyang Conservatory of Music and Texas Christian University and top prizes in competitions such as the TCU Concerto Competition and Young Texas Artist Music Competition attest to his virtuosity.
As a soloist, Peng Wang has performed concertos with the TCU Symphony Orchestra and presented recitals across the United States and China, becoming the first undergraduate bassist at Shenyang Conservatory to present a full solo concert. His orchestral career includes appearances with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, the Plano Symphony, the Irving Symphony, and the Macao Orchestra.
Beyond the stage, Wang is a respected mentor whose teaching at Texas Wesleyan University, Southwestern Seminary, and various music academies, along with his masterclasses and audition clinics, shapes the next generation of musicians. As Music Director of the Huayun Chinese Orchestra and an active worship leader and composer, he integrates classical, worship, and cross-cultural traditions to inspire diverse communities.
